DHGate with stealth pp
 

Hi,

Does anyone here use a stealth pp with DHgate that hasn't got their real address? I am looking at ordering for the first time from DHgate but I haven't got a pp address that uses my real address so I don't want to join if it isn't going to work

So how would I do this? I've read other posts about people having problems using credits cards etc and that they reccommend using paypal with them but I can't...

So you don't have access to the stealth address?

Nope, I don't have a suitable address I can use. My family don't live in the same town as I do and I haven't lived in the town that I am in very long so what friends I do have here I haven't known very long and I don't want them knowing anything about what I am doing etc


I can imagine the conversation now 'hi, how are you today? Do you mind if I have a shipment from China delivered to your address, can't tell you why.' lol

Why is the credit card no good? You can use it and dispute it more easier if something happens.

Or better idea. Talk to supplier before ordering and tell them you want to ship it to your real address. And just use the stealth pp to pay.

You can use stealth paypal and fill the shipping address to somewhere else at dhgate. I did that before but I think credit card is still the best bet.

dhgate doesnt care if the paypal address doesnt match the shipping address. they will ship it anywhere you want

i pay with debit card all the time,no problem what so ever.

make sure you have a verified paypal and its confirmed etc...you should be fine

Best to just order with your credit card. Def not with a stealth PP.

I have ordered through paypal accounts with dhgate for orders like 1k-2k and I get limited after a while. Sucks!

Not worth the risk!

i never order more than $500 worth of stuff on dhgate, but I always pay with paypal with no problems.

Do you ship to the same address on pp?

I have only ordered two shipments from DHgate and one turned out to be f a k e s grrr!

I'm glad I paid by credit card. I think that was a lesson well learnt :clap:

I guess I shouldn't talk... The first time I stumbled upon one of these sites I convinced myself for a few days that everything was "factory surplus" items and they were all legit.. :bolt:

In order to buy from dhgate/ebay, I created a new paypal account with a slight variation of name and address (both of which were banned). I even sent a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ passport on initial limitation, and to my amazement pp were happy with what they saw. I believe the consensus is that this strategy is ok for buying, but not for selling.
