V.A.T Registration for Business acc.?

Hi, do I have to have a registered business for opening a business account? IF iI do then what would be the easiest way to do it? Any pros and cons?

If you're referring to a PayPal business account, at least in the US you don't need to register anything to open one. You can make up any business name as your sole proprietorship.

I'm talking about eBay, it asks for vat registration no. when upgrading to a business account.

No - it says you can add your VAT number to get the vat back from the fees
