Is my SSN re-usable with Paypal / Ebay?
 

I have this old Paypal account, that has my SSN added. This Paypal account was never used with an Ebay account, to buy or sell.


However, I have a second Paypal account ( no ssn added yet ). This Paypal account had an Ebay account that was suspended few months ago.


Basically the SSN Paypal is linked by name, cookies, address, phone number, etc. to the non-SSN Paypal account. But the SSN Paypal was never really directly involved with an Ebay account.


My Paypal accounts were never suspended, just the Ebay account.



I already have a third PP/EB on my real name ( different address, phone, cookies, bank, cc, etc. ) and I successfully raised the limit to 100/5000$ as well. I've been selling on this one successfully for 2 months now. I'm just wondering if my SSN will be re-usable later on for tax purposes?

Sounds very messy - you CANNOT re-use a SSN with pp and expect to remain unlinked.

you cant re-use a SSN period with paypal. you will get a message that the SSN is already tied to a different account. and then you will be linked

No it isn't. SSN isn't reusable PERIOD.

Close down the paypal account that is linked to the ebay account, close down the ebay account that got suspended, wait 180 days.
