| dallis | 11-19-2011 06:01 PM | Tracking Through Delivery Confirmation Number I have had several separate unlinked E & P stealth accounts with different names/user accounts/phone, etc running without problems for about 90 days now.
Sometimes due to 21 day fund holds, there isn't enough money in the P account where the item was purchased and paid for to ship without using a credit/debit/gift card.
If I ship from another unlinked P account, manually entering the name and address, (minus customer email) and generating a shipping label and DC #, and then insert the DC tracking number into the original P account so that the hold will be released shortly after delivery instead of waiting the entire 21 days, will P link the two accounts together through the DC #?
In the days before stealth, I had several accounts linked together by name/ip/phone, etc, and I sometimes noticed that one P would pick up the mailing details and DC# from another.
I wondered if apparently unconnected P accounts search each other for common data such as DC#'s, and use them to link accounts or if this only happens in previously connected/linked accounts.
I would think that the volume of data points involved would make the needed processing time cost prohibitive for just a random 'fishing expedition'.
Have any of you seen separate E or P accounts linked through DC#? |
