Listing not showing on new account

I have an account that is two weeks old, all verifed, paypal verified etc etc

100 items / £3500 selling limit and 3 feedback (as buyer) so all is well.

However, I listed something today that I consider to be non-vero and although it shows in my selling activity as active etc, half a day after listing it, it doesn't turn up in any searches unless I use the item ID. If I search for my seller's ID it says I'm not currently selling anything.

When I listed the same type of item on an older account (a couple of weeks older) with a different image/wording/font etc it showed in search results almost straight away.

When I listed it this time they called me with a pin to enter, which I expected, but then it asked me to confirm my address, which I did.

Am I being paranoid? Am I reading too much into this? :pry:

There are times when eb system is slow to show the new sales up. Give yourself some time before going nuts with this. While it is possible, your listings are being reviewd, only time will tell - no need to be anxious yet.

Thanks rsot, it's showing now

There are listings that probably have to go through manual review.

Not necessarily - while possible, eb system does glitch quite a bit with stuff backing up the system.

A little paranoia is allowed. Shows you are grasping 'stealth' & making it work.

Not a general rule of thumb, but certain items may take 30 hours to 'show'.

I have noticed there's been some stupid glitch in ebay uk if you list on Sundays. 2 Sundays running my items have been awol. Makes me well nervous :juggle:

It started showing but then I've got all paranoid again after reading about images.

Although I went to great pains to make the images/listings look different I took the pictures with the same camera not realising about the metadata. the only hope I've got is that I opened them in paint and resized and re-orientated them before renaming them. :pry:

Usually with new accounts when you post your first item they manually review it so it might take about 12-24 hours to appear on eBay.

Sundays are a mad day on ebay. I usually have to check manually to see if I've sold anything because I don't get the emails etc until the next day. I assume it's because it get's very busy on a sunday, it tends to be when I get the most orders
