New cases of opting out of ssn for usa paypal accounts?

I just want to know if there has been any new cases of people opting out of ssn and convincing to just show an id at this time of the year for paypal limit accounts?

What was your method?

You can't get around the limit of 20k per year without a SSN. It is a IRS law so they have no choice but to comply. From my understanding Paypal will limit you before you even hit that threshold.
