MC999 False Address- no suspension?
 

Hi Guys,
I often seem to have the strange problems with eBay. So got MC999 false address, of course on a stealth account, they want me to check my address but not change it within 48 hours, They did not ask me to provide any info to them What is going to happen after 48h period?Then it says not to change anything in y registration information.... I have 40 listing ( nothing out of the ordinary, usually list more) this account is about 1 years old. None of the listings were removed ,all still live.

Same happened to me a couple days ago right around the time you encountered the issue. I verified the phone associated with the account - no phone calls. I think it must be the address. Does anyone have a solution to this?

Never seen this before. But I assume you will be suspend if you don't do what's they asking after the 48 hours window

Did the address exist physically? My GUESS is they found the bad address, but maybe thought you made a typo or something, so they are giving you a chance to fix it.

When setting up future accounts, make sure you use an address that actually exists and is not a commercial address (Walmart, McDonalds, etc.) unless it is a UPS store address.

The postal service published a list of all deliverable (and some non-deliverable) actual addresses, so we can assume that eBay can quickly tell if the address is totally ⊗⊗⊗⊗.
