Creating a Sole Proprietorship

Finally decided to create one as I near the $20k mark for eBay/PayPal. Can anyone tell me how I go about doing this?

I've been googling it, but none of the sites I have found link me to the actual government/IRS forms to set one up.

The absolute 1st link that comes up when typing in EIN and IRS is the site you need. just apply for the EIN in your state and it will lead you through the process.

Read up on the real issues on doing so. Its simple but know how to report this stuff in a way that will benefit you instead of hurt you.
