Understand everything apart from generating new name
 

Hi there, I'm quite wise now about how to set up my stealth account but my only issue is with the name I use. I have a new bank account and I am going to use my mum's address.

If I generate a new name for me do I have to get a pre paid card in that name also?

Can my new stealth account be linked on date of birth?

Ok, so if I register on EBay with my mums name and date of birth, can I get the pre paid card in my name or is that traceable? I have a new bank account in my name but it's my understanding PayPal won't check this if I use an alternative name. Thanks for replying but just need to clarify this and I'm ready to go I think.

1st rule is to avoid using family/friend info...if you can think about it, you will understand why.

You're second statement about name and bank is CORRECT.

Excuse my ignorance and stupidity - why may I not use a family member? I'm really not sure! I can't see that there would a link - different surnames, different parts of country, no financial links. I only need one eBay account for selling.

A key point is if you were in their shoes, would you want someone else using your info on eb/pp and potentially getting banned? and asked for docs? I know that I wouldn't - especially when it's SO EASY to get a stealth name and stealth "addy" going....

So should I make up a stealth name and get this on my prepaid visa card too? Sorry for the questions. You have been really helpful! I've real about getting an address and the e book suggests that a family address is fine. Would you recommend something else?

Name does not matter for prepaid card - the address info is more important to match up with pp.
