Account Suspended Ebay asking me to pay fees.

My ebay account is suspended and after 3months I have received email requesting me to pay fees (£9.99) for past. I have change my IP and I know when I log in to this account I will be linked. What you suggesting to do ? Should I pay those fees or not. Should I use different IP ? Any suggestions ?

Eb is in your real name? How do you KNOW that you will be linked?

first off, i wouldnt pay those fees if it was a stealth account. but i have heard that ebay is sending out debt collectors now, so maybe you should if its in your real name?

second. you will NOT get linked if you do it this way

make a 'new user account' on 'windows' then change your ip.

you will then be seen as someone else on ebay so you will NOT be linked (just dont log into the account you use now on this windows user)

if you then want to pay the fees, pay them. then log out of that windows user account. change your ip, and log back into your normal windows user account

by doing it this way (like the stealth book shows you to do) you will not be linked.

can they link you by your bank acc if you dont pay?

yes i guess they can. but i have just done some digging! i have 2 stealth accounts, both in debt. they have both been pased on to debt collectors. (even if the accounts were in my real name i would not pay, as ebay is not a bank, or a lender)

but anyway, i have just phoned the debt collectors, about one of the stealth accounts. they have just said that if i dont pay the debt it they will take legal procedings! the account is £500 in debt. i told her i will not pay as ebay is not a bank. she said no but paypal are:doh: (that makes me laugh everytime)

anyway as the person does not exist i dont think there is much they can do.

anyone else had experiance with debt collectors from ebay on stealth accounts?

not that it matters but paypal cannot chase you for an ebay debt or vise verser anyway.

so you think you can just use ebay for free? why were you suspended and why dont you pay the fees? you sold the items on their site, pay the fees!!

post after post on here about this. if you use their service, stealth or not, you owe them the money. its people like you that make ebay raise their already ridiculously high fees. :amen:

Why don't you pay the fees you duly owe them ??? Why are you dithering over whether to pay the fees or not ??? What was the reason for the suspension ???

they did something similar to me but asked me to pay for store subscriptions for months AFTER my suspension.....
