Did getting kicked off ebay the first time change you?
 

Well it certainly changed me. I became a much worse person. Could barely hold a job, my rooms (now condo) looks like a hoarders house and for the first year or so after being screwed I really made my family distance themselves from me.

Not everybody is socially unstable.

I mean no offense to the OP, but it sounds like you have some issues that go beyond simply losing an eBay account. I'm not a doctor, but it sounds to me like you might be suffering from depression. I've been there and done that. It is not a fun place to be. I seriously recommend seeking some help.

i didnt experience this because i was suspended because of my sister many years ago and came to terms with it

only recently began selling

To say ebay ruined your life is a stretch. As the saying goes, you can't put all your eggs in one basket. Meaning you shouldn't rely on just one venue to sell your stuff if this is your career

Yeh well I hate eBay .. Together with PayPal they are the ultimate Antichrist. called a massive conflict of interest!
Fortunately for us though we can dig them a hole with the same shovel they use for us.

this post made me laugh:pound: yes it did change me. it made me very interested in the whole ins and outs of ebay/paypal. was banned 8 years ago for the first time. after reading the stealth book last year i now know how i actually managed to get back on each time all those years back. very weird. when im sat with my mates and someone says ebay. they do the whole sheldon thing from 'the big bang theroy' like please dont mention ebay, dont let him go into all that. and yes my house has some very random things in it that i buy to build feedback:cool:

When i got kicked off for the first time i thought it was game over. I totally dropped the eb*y game for about 6 months. Stumbled upon this and now im making TRILLIONS!!!! Sike..... I wish :)

yea, it made me a better seller, more ambitious & sly :thumb:

if anything, it has made me more adaptable to change...
and that is one thing about this game, it is always going to be changing!!

Ebay did let me down the first time i was suspended....because you do not much at that time..you just think that you are being treated has a criminal....Since this forum, i have learnt alot..
I know many people rely on ebay for thier income for various reason.
This year i took one long break from ebay...i got myself back into studies, so i feel much better.
I have stealth accounts...know the game very well, and i am looking forward to sell on ebay in January 2012...i have missed it no doubt about that....but to say ebay is only life you got, you need to look other alternatives.

All the above is right, but also the first time you're suspended is usually the most disasterious- when you're counting on your Ebay account the most, and it can be quite shocking/painful, both loosing something you've invested time and effort into, and learning that it even CAN just disappear like that.

Like the first time somebody breaks up with you.... until you realize there are many other opportunites (or Aspkin!) out there, it can leave you quite stunned for a bit.

people often take job or money problems out on their family, do not do this, they are the most important people and you will regret it.

do NOT rely on ebay for your whole income ...ever, have other sources that can cover basic bills.

keep a garage, lock-up or one spare room or even a closet for stuff you sell only - the rest of the home you keep as your sanctuary for yourself and family......I have an out-building luckily but it is a mess and the things I need are ALWAYS right at the back so I pull everything apart to get to it, I have to practically go mountaineering, plus there is some mothership spider in there having babies....haha anyway thought i would try and make you laugh, cheer up......

And with what happened to me, that was years ago. It took awhile to get over it but I did. It's not a great feeling when your rooms look like a hoarders because you got all this product you can't get rid of.
