Here's how that happened. I opened a new paypal account under the last guys same name/address because I didn't have access to his pp account. Then they linked it that way. His account wasn't limited or anything (of course I didn't know it owed money either).

Wait a Minute,,,You Mean that you Opened a Paypal account using some of the Same information that was used on another Paypal account and so Naturally Paypal linked the 2 accounts and because the other one owed money all you did is pay the money it owed and they lifted your limitation?

Did you know about the exsistance of the other Paypal account before you created the one that got limited?,,,,,,,

Did you Create BOTH Accounts?,,,,,,,

Im Scratchin my head here,,I DO NOT Understand what happened,,,

But it "was me" (the last guy that had the ebay/pp account). He gave me the ebay account to use but didn't give me the pp account so I had to create one in his name to get it all to work. If that doesnt make sense let me know.

I knew it existed but I figured it was just sitting there - not in the negatives like it was. The guy just stopped using eBay. I created the account that got limited. If it still doesnt make sense, let me know.

well, if the money owed on the Original account was for something sort of Harmless like Payment of Ebay fee's and NOt like a Refund on a Known VERO Item,,,Maybe I can see how Paypal simply took the approach where the only goal was to recover the Money, They "Saw " you attempt at creating a New Paypal account, Kept the Original one suspended and Lifted the Limitations on the Newer Account,,Yea, I Guess I can see that,,

In the Future you Make STEALTH Accounts

I hear you and I do make stealth accounts. I just didn't want to change all info on an old account with tons of feedback for fear of losing it. Or are you telling me that I can and should go that route?

When you have an Ebay account like that and you lose the attached Paypal, It does Suck, but you do have Alternatives, you can Bill Buyers Manually thru merchants Processors like CCNow which even allow Buyers to use their Paypal accounts if they wish, or use another Ebay approved Payment processor like Moneybookers,,Customers will ALWAYS buy from High Positive Feedback accounts,,,Many People Look to buy ONLY From such sellers,,
