PayPal withdrawal taking FOREVER
 

Is anyone else having problems with the withdrawals taking forever?

I haven't tried on any established accounts recently but iwithdrew on 2 accounts for the first time last monday 28/11/2011. I used the faster withdrawal/£5 option as i needed the cash by friday. As you know it says 1-2 working days.

Both withdrawals took exactly 3 days to the minute to change from 'pending' to 'completed' (Thursday 01/12/2011) and have still not appeared in my bank account.

Is anyone else having similar problems?

I have sent them an email but don't anticipate much response.

Thanks in advance for any advice/experience. I'm starting to worry it's gonna get returned then limited and i'll have to pay for christmas in 180 days time.

I'm using a US paypal account, sometimes it takes more time to appear money in bank account, even though the paypal shows you the transfer as completed.

Yeah, i've seen it take a day longer than i expect before but not 6 days!

Have you seen it take this long?

6 days is pretty unusual, about a year ago, one of my transfers was delayed for about 5 days, first Paypal displayed the transfer was completed but later returned the withdrawal back to the account informing me my bank account is invalid. It was an issue between the bank account and Paypal. I could fix it by adding a new bank account number. I think you should inform this issue to your bank.

Yeah, they've both been returned today. I made a normal withdrawal to the same bank account from one of the accounts and that's appeared today. PayPal have refunded both £5 though. Just gonna withdraw again and see what happens.
