MC019, trademark, help!
 

Hi guys,

i have read around the forum regarding this issue, but want a deeper insight...

I receieved a mc019 and 2/2 of my listings were removed, i dont think my account is suspended, or limited in anyway, but obviously this flags eBay...

if i stop selling the particular item and list non-branded goods will it be ok? or shall i let it cool off for the time being and not sell anything? how bad is it? the accounts is around 3months old, and has 4feedback, and no other problems, apart from receiving this message today.

It is from Spanish eBay..., what you think i should do? as i cannot afford for this account to go down, as i have all the docs for it etc..., thanks

First strike. Not in peril ....yet.

Do not list the offending item again. (imo). Now you can either list 'safe' items or let the account rest. 90 days is the period where the tag is active.

Used be 3 strikes & you are out. But given how difficult it is to start again, don't push that boundary.:juggle:

ok thanks guys, i will open up another one or two..., but it shouldnt happen again, as im not planning on selling an V e r o items or any brand things etc..., just listed something that i thought would be fine, seeing as there are loads of the same things on eBay selling every hour..., do u think the account will be ok?

You can re-list the same item even if its vero you just have to look at other items being sold on the website and modify the listing information and pictures maybe that makes a change if not then list not vero.

He should NOT list the item again at the moment for the following reasons:

it's his ONLY account.
it's his ONLY account.

Opening few more accounts via stealth is ALWAYS a good move.
