Selling eBooks - not sending a cd

Hello All.

Just a quicky. I'm sure we all know eBays rules on selling ebooks, that you have to send a physical cd with the file on.

But do people actually do this? I mean it would be very easy to put that on your listing to keep eBay happy... but at the end of the day, you could then send them the download directly to there email without ebay knowing.

In my opinion, why would people care? They're getting the same item they purchased but getting it alot quicker.

Wondered what your feedback was for this.

Kill your account whatever way you want.

One less seller for me.:pound:

Do you know that there are pratts of buyers who have reported to ebay they got a ebook but no CD.....

Some folx do, some folx don't - I did my stint with e-books way back...not the greatest of ideas. If you don't get nailed for digital delivery, you could expect feedback manipulation when you get loads of feedback.

As for physical delivery, I did not but some clients wanted it...then turned around and made dispute for non-receipt. Bogus.

I used to sell these way back, listed them as ebook cd but never sent the cd, started all auctions under a dollar, didn't have many problems, less than 1% ever asked about the the cd.

I know one thing for sure, if you're opening disputes or complaining about under a dollar items, you got some serious problems I don't think even a pshychologist could handle.

I used to sell ebooks, hence my account getting indefo suspended.

I would have customers that paid 99p which only just about covered the cost of creating and sending them but some customers complained that art work wasn't included or if the listing stated there were 1000 books and it turned out there were only 999.

I even had a couple that complained the listing stated DVD and the actual disc that arrived was a CD, I mean, does it really matter?

Perhaps we have more nutters in the UK than in the US.
