Custom fees?

Do you guys have a list of custom fees/taxes for countries outside of the US?
Sometimes buyers ask me to lower the item's value in the custom form so that they can avoid paying custom taxes.
How do you deal with that? Doing that is ok but I just think about in case the items are lost, I can't claim to get full amount back.

Yes, This would be nice for us in the US to understand what costs are involved for international bidders.

You have to go to their custom website to check out before ship to their countries.Or you may ask your buyer to provide this info for you before ship out .

Declare low value always are good if only 1 single item as sample.

Too many countries and the list would change with the weather.

Burden is on the exporter/seller to carefully check Customs requirements of a country.
Ideally the duties should be checked each time an item gets sent overseas.:typing:

Certainly no sensible seller would take teh word of a buyer as to the correct duties payable. Cue goods seized & big fines

Dont do international shipping if it's that much of a problem,KR.

Or... you send everything as gift and hope for the best.
