Paypal REP said "ETRADE" IS FLAGGED IN THEIR SYSTEM
 

I just spoke with paypal and he said since I had a etrade account we have to verify ownership of account since "Etrade said not to take there own on the validity of the bank account :" , Thats what paypal agent said

SO , try to use another bank and avoid Etrade at all cost,

News of this started to filter thro' at the end of November.

Important to be aware of such info.

I opened pp accounts with eTrade bank and selling something on ebay. Everything looked fine before I spend the money. When I tried to send and spend the money from PPs, all of them were limited.

So, I think I have to think another way to verify bank.

Dose anyone have any suggestion for other banks other than eTrade?

I think thats is the issue, Sending money probably causes this to occur, sure Ive been trying to send over $4K out on accounts but they say they limited cause of Etrade.

Overal I don't know what cause the limitation but the paypal rep said Etrade triggers a flag in there system, so Overal stop using trade if your looking for a Strong account.

I think ebay is cracking down on this problem not just with eTrade, but all VBA's as well. All my accounts that I have tried to confirm with VBA's this past week, didn't verify. It seems paypal is making the 2 microdeposits, then trying to withdraw the money back. If it's a VBA and not a real bank account, that would fail and they would know it's not a valid account. Obviously VBA's still work for some, but they are hit and miss with me, so I have moved on to other ways of confirming accounts. The VBA's I had problems with were from Watchovia and Inter National Bank.

i have seen this as well when they make the depoists and take the money back this is to verfiy that the bank is real and also when they get the money back they get the bank account owners real name as well.

This is not a good development for EB/PP Stealth.:smash:

It just means you have to get some real banks accounts linked to the paypal account.

Ivebeen using trade just fine ¿¿so what other vbas would be good

paypal just did the same to me... they send the 2 deposits I confirmed the deposits and thought evertything was fine 2 weeks later when I sold an item and tried to withdraw the funds the bank account was removed and got limited..and I noticed at that time when I went back to look at the bank account paypal removed the the deposits from the account...that's how they must have seen the name did not match!!:nono:

The bank i use for vba now some keeps the deposits the others Pp takes back insantly it must be at random.

yes I've have noticed it is random also not everty account..:eek:
