Ebay warning => Confirm your personal information
 

Hi guys,
My account has 10 item limit.
After the latest listing, I got the warning from Ebay as the following:

Confirm your personal information
Review your personal information
eBay confirms the identity of each member to ensure a safe marketplace. Why is this important?
Please check that your home address and phone number are correct.
Name:xxx
Home phone:xxx

This shows up after I pressed Submit the listing (after I'm done listing), not from Ebay email, that means it's automatic.
Could you guys tell me what it is? If I don't confirm the information, I will be suspended or just can't list anymore?

Is your address or phone number completely made up or fictional? Not sure, but this could be causing it. Get a PO box or a box at the UPS store. Otherwise, use a real address (use zillow or trulia to find a house for sale or a rental). Some of the account sellers on here use completely fictional/made up address and I learned about it the hard way. PayPal especially will get on you for a made up address.

Do NOT use a McDonalds address.

Use a real street address. I have had luck with empty homes myself that I know are empty or for rent.

Everything is good, except the name.

Ok, I agree with this. I have actually always used random home addresses from zillow so rentals or houses for sale. I usually add "unit 1" or something like that just in case someone has used that address in the past.

how do you receive packages at the address you use?

You don't - if returns to be done, you give diff instructions.
