Anyone try selling these? I have already have some listed on ebay and so far everything is going fine. I didn't list these as authenic and I said no returns. Shipping says from outside the U.S. Auction are ready to end and I am nervous selling these .(first time) Should I end the items?

My recommendation is start getting your new stealth e Bay accounts in order. You're going to need them shortly.

eBay will eventually remove them. Maybe not the first time but they will.

any advice on fighting chargebacks just in case I encounter them?

You wont encounter chargebacks because Ebay will suspend your account before it gets to that stage. Chargebacks will be the least of your worries - well documented on this forum

Just don't sell counterfeits, end of story.

I talked to ebay and if you take enough pictures they won't be removed they said. Then again we got some idiots at ebay customer service. Let the force be with you my friend!

Come on now you know buying the most popular headphones from china at a 1/4th of cost are going to be ⊗⊗⊗⊗ and I cant believe anyone would think they are legit..tho you can pass off for short periods of time to the unknowledgable buyers but that still leaves ebay which will limit that account faster than you can think

OP I can tell this is not going to end up well at all for you. You need to keep in mind that selling counterfeit may result in a lot more than just a suspended account.

I used to sell those when I started out and let me tell you those things are HUGE headaches. My customer return rate was about 30% on those things. The charge back rate was about 5% and the suspended account rate was 100%.

I lost some pretty good old account with those things back in the day for me. Not worth the experience. Please go legit.......

Actually, the account MAY survive. Ending the auctions will bring attention to the account. I would leave it alone and not list any more. If anyone wants a refund, give it to them. They will get one anyway, regardless if you want to or not.

Fighting chargebacks usually does not work even if your products are 100% legitimate. The buyer's bank has the final word and they almost always side with their customers.

If eBay hasn't noticed and you don't list anymore, the account MAY live to see another day. No guarantees, of course.

And preparing a backup account (or 10) is not a bad idea either.

Everybody selling this should know that the reason people return these is because the audio quality is way lower then the real ones. Professionals tell. Please understand sellers! I don't recommend at all selling this.

That was my biggest complain, was the audio quality of the beats earphones. I tested them myself when I had some and wow they suck. Might as well buy some .99 cent pair of earphones.

When the original $300 pair from local retail stores is nothing special, you should know your silly cheapos are doomed far worse.

As everybody else implied, beats would be on the list of the worst things you could be selling on eb@y

As for the sound quality, it also depends on the quality of the Chinese beats and what factory they're from. I've seen the embarrassing quality of some of the cheaper ones

When I first started I was selling BOSE earphones which are in the same ballpark as the Dre earphones. I was able to sell around 10 and got positive feedback for about 7 of them with no returns. I was very lucky to say the least. I don't know why everyone keeps saying you're just going to get outright limited or suspended, it doesn't happen that way.

What eventually did happen to me and what will happen to you if you continue to sell them is you're going to get an MC019 for one or all of them and 3 of those equals a burned account. So tread softly, I'd just unload the rest on craigslist and move on to something safer.

People don't always care about quality either, they want to show off the brand name. If you give someone the option of generic earphones with great quality vs. a name brand with lesser quality at the same price guess what they will pick? Might sound surprising but 9 out of 10 will choose the name brand I guarantee it. Same goes for sunglasses, purses etc.

Thanks again for the replies. I am not going to sell these anymore. I am new at this and I am just looking to supplement my income . I am a single mom of two and sick of living paycheck to paycheck. Any ideas of what I should sell ? or a reliable dropshipper?

No matter how bad you have it no one will ever tell you what to sell. You might get ideas from others where to look. And if someone does tell you what to sell it's probably not worth it. Each and everyone of us was at the spot you are right now. Not knowing what to sell. The best advice i can give you is to take the time and search EVERYWHERE. Not only the internet. There are MANY things to sell that you can get descent profit from. You just need to search. Another thing, stay away from f*ke stuff. Especially f*ke electronics. They only bring trouble your way.
