withdrawing money from PP...
 

I have a PP with about $150 in it and there isn't a bank acct linked to it. I'd like to withdraw the money but I'd rather not open a bank acct and I don't want to send it to another PP acct because the acct is linked to a restricted EB. I read I could use a greendot card to withdraw but I don't know which one to buy. Any suggestions?

Why not open a bank account?

GreenDot requires your info anyway so you might as well open a bank account.

Do you have an ebay account linked to this pp? Is the eb account still active?

Why dont you want to open a bank account, seems to be the simple way to go.

just go to greendot's website and open it with them. i guess you can now open one up online for free.

I have an ebay linked to it and it is limited. So it would kinda be a waste to open a bank acct just to make one withdrawl. I was just curious about greendot. I never used one with PP before so I thought this might be a good time to do it.

I think i'll buy one today and try it out. I take it that it doesn't matter if my greendot info and the PP info match up, because it works just like adding a bank acct. As long as I don't send any money to PP then they can't see my info, right?

I worded that first sentance weird lol. The PP acct is linked to a suspended ebay acct.

If the paypal is linked then I would hurry up because that might be banned too.

Go online and open a Greedot account for free. They will mail you the card in some days. No need to waste $4.95 for the card at the store.

But dont you have to use your real info on a GD?

And I believe someone posted here that GD sometimes shares info with pp.
