Multiple Ebay accs questions
 

Okay so I know making new user accounts on your computer keeps your cookies separate and each time you make a new user account your cookies/flash cookies become clear.

That much I understand ...I also changed my ip address on my Verizon modem by releasing and renewing my ip address on the router website. I also got a new name, address, SSN, email, bank account, prepaid card all that working. So all check and now I have ONE working stealth account.

HOWEVER..I now want another stealth account but this will require me to change my IP address again. After I release and renew my IP address I'll get a new one..a RANDOM one. Now ..if I have a random IP address how can I go back to my first stealth account without getting linked? Will I have to release and renew my ip address every time I want to log onto a stealth account? Always having random ip addresses? Does ebay let you do that? How can I change my IP address at will meaning..how can I control what IP address I will have?

I thought about using a VPN but I researched that on the forums and everyone says VPNs suck. So what do I do? Need more knowledge from you guys who use multiple stealth accounts.

I have used many different IP address and they seem to be "ok" with it. They have to understand that the world moves around.

Anyone wanna add to that?

Ebay knows that most Ip's will change so that won't make them suspicious and you only need to renew your IP when logging into Ebay. So switching from user account 1 to User account 2 you will not need to renew your IP unless logging into Ebay.

You will also need to keep a log so that you don't use an IP from another account that will link them together.

I use different window user accounts - I don`t keep track of the IPs and works well. More depends on what you are selling and your activity.

OP, i really dont think IP matters as much as we all think it does.. esp dynamic IPs as they are always changing. to think that a dynamic IP on your particular internet provider has never been used by another person on ebay is ridiculous. eventually an IP will get re-used by someone who has been banned by ebay previously

well ip needs to be logged and just make sure you dont use the same ip for seperate acoounts. A spreadsheet with the username you used will be the best way.

And set up a seperate laptop for your business and use a total seperate internet source.

You can get a ibm think pad on ebay for less than $200 bucks that will do what you need or go to the pawnshop get one:cheer:

While it is not nesseary to get a separate computer just for eBay, though I highly recommend to do so because this way your primary machine won't be cluttered up with a bunch of user accounts. Also, your internet does NOT need to be a seperate internet source. As long as no IPs match, it's okay.

Just install a SSD drive if your laptop becomes slow at loading up user accounts. Best time to buy one is right know. SSD prices are coming down and normal mechanical drives are going up cuz of the floods in Thailand.
