Logged in with wrong IP adress panic
 

I have seperate IP adresses and seperate windows accounts for each eb account I have. Before I log into the windows account I need I change to the correct IP address.

This morning I changed my IP address for eb account 'a' but then, by mistake, I logged into windows account 'b' and then eb account 'b' meaning I logged into eb account 'b' with eb account 'a's ip address.

I realised what I had done as soon as I had logged in to eb and logged out straight away

How worried should I be? :pout:

Should I clean my cookies or anything? Or would that look obvious? I was thinking that using the same windows account for each eb account would let the cookies build up nicely etc

would not worry,just dont log back into account a with the ip address just used on account b

use a diff ip with account a from now on

seriously, its not that big of a deal. just dont make a habit of it. ebay can fine 500000 other good reasons to ban you without IP matching

It all depends. How frequent were the changes between these 2 accounts?


If you logged into account A then logged out. 2 seconds later you switch user names and log into account B with that same IP address, in my opinion you might actually have something to worry about.

if you logged out of A,then into B,then back into A with same ip then it could be an issue
