Hi Guys.

Is it possible to change address in your PPal account and then be registered in Ppal of that country?

Anyone ever doing this?

Example: Ppal accounts in BR are not allowed to receive Personal Payments(PPal BR accounts have many restrictions). So I have this old BR account and then I would change my address to another country, say, a better place. Will I be able to receive personal payments? (lets assume it´s using a secure IP from that new country)

Sounds silly but people do move to other places, other countries.

Best way around that is to contact PP and say 'I'm moving to Bonga Bonga Land on the 5th of next month, what would you like me to do about my address etc?'

Get them on your side and they will do it for you

It's very simple - I live in the UK - if I'm moving to, say, France. I still want to trade so I contact EB and PP and say "Hello this is Mrs. GT here, I'm moving to France next week and I will have a new address can you sort it out for me?"

The nice operator then turns to her friend at the next desk and says "Oh boy, I've got a right dippy date-loaf here"

She then comes back to me and says "Right Mrs. GT, where are you moving to?"

I act all silly and stupid (not hard for me - seems to come naturally) and the very nice lady at the other end sorts it all out for me.

After all - it is a perfectly reasonable request - isn't it??

Yes, I think so, people move and that's normal, right?
But after that, do they look at you more closely? Like seeing where you shipped the items from (from your tracking numbers provided) and find that they all are from the old country.
