Terrapeak Worry?
 

Hi

I really need to confirm whether clicking Terrapeak eb links can jepoardise yr accounts.
I currently use in in a non-eb acc't windows user acc't - but Im using my cable connection as opposed to my dongle.
This connection is often used for another non-stealth eb acc't on another machine - thus Im a little confused/concerened about linking possibilities.

Do terrapeak share data with eb?
ps i pay for it with cc not pp.

i dont click any link that has the potential of sending me to ebay. i know terapeak doesnt share info but i still dont think the risk is worth it

You can have an account just for terapeak.

i only click on terapeak links when im on fresh cookies/IP (not associated with my current stealths)

Seems to me that folx are worried about terapeak and the potential of linking. Prob best to be safe and operate independently. No experience here from me.

Make sure on each user account that you have the "stay signed in off" right below your ebay name or when you sign into terapeak and click on anything ebay it will automatically have you signed in and looking at ebay.

Unless you have checked your IP to match that particular eb account you might have just signed in under a wrong or mismatched IP so be careful.

Listen,,It is Logical to assume that terrapeak Shares info with Ebay,,,If you develop Software that you want to Introduce to Ebay users,,,software that Needs Access to Both Ebay AND your Account in some form,,,well then that software MUST have Ebays Permission on some Level,,,So a Contract between the Software Developer and Ebay MUST Exist,,,and in that Contractual Agreement Im quite sure that it Specifies that Ebay will have access to User Information on some Level,,,,

Im NOT saying that this is 100% Fact as to how these agreements between Ebay and Other software developers like Terrapeak are structured,,but it is a Pretty good bet,,,

So better to be safe than sorry,,AVOID ALL Software offered thru Ebay Including Terrepeak,,
