Does paypal know address when they submit deposit?
 

Ok so im setting up a new paypal account and I link a gift card to it for them to make the 1.95 charge. Everything is fine and dandy then smack I realized the old gift card I used has the address of another current paypal account thats in outstanding condition.

Yeah I know im an idiot and its a long story how it got mixed up but it did. The paypal account is all ready to go bank and card verified. I also bought some items with this card on this paypal account through ebay.

So question is are they linked now cause of the gift card having a address of another account or do they not know the address when making the deposit?

Cause it went through even tho that card didnt have the address I was saying it did. Make sense??? let me know thanks

Im thinking more about this and i dont think paypal knows the address on the card they send the deposit to.

Thats the whole point of getting the number so you do the verification not them and verifying your info.

Do i not sound right on this or do I not just want to believe I linked a account?

paypal cannot see the address.

Ok awesome I was thinking that everyone figured they would share that info and definitely be linked cause of it. Good to hear reassurance that Im just being paranoid and over thinking it. Thanks guys

USA need address verification AVS

so the name and address on paypal is different to the name and address on the prepaid cc?

you answered that already,wonder if there will be an issue due to the info not matching

correct the info was not matching at the time of setup and the cc address was to another account. Its been about 5 days since I verified the code and no problems yet. But yeah thats what I was wondering too if there will be a issue shortly. So far so clear

wish i could tell you bud but i just dont know

its a well known fact though that US PayPal require info to match

wonder why this did not happen,i would of thought it would of declined the cc due to the details not matching
