Same city name on different accounts.
 

I live in a kinda small city. And lets say I have 10 different accounts and they all say Garland as the city the item is located in. And I sell the same item on all 10 accounts. Will ebay eventually catch on? I don't want to put a random city because the IP address has to be near the city right?

I think you should be ok as long as you stick to the main stealth ways and dont link them in any possible way. The only problem I really see is with the buyers and making sure they dont catch on. If you have the same buyer on 2 different accounts make sure the package looks different and maybe even drop off at a different shipping facility on a different day then the first one. Im sure others will have some suggestions for you

Do follow the stated stealth principles.

It would be a good idea to have the IP address detail from where you login on your stealth EB/PP A/C locally/regionally nearby to your EB/PP A/C registered address detail.

If your stealth EB/PP A/C IP address were to be logged in from on an IP address some 200-300 miles away from your stealth EB/PP A/C item postal tracking information location/shipping/address location details as on your stealth EB/PP A/C records, this will risk a red flag.

i.e If you are logging into your stealth EB/PP A/C FROM an IP address, that is (for example) 400 miles in CITY B against the stealth registered EB/PP A/C postal address in CITY A on a regular basis & from your item postal tracking information on the stealth EB/PP A/C the discrepancy between CITY A & B will be visible that.... the logged in stealth EB/PP A/C IP address (CITY B) is 400 miles away from where the item's postal shipped/received FROM EB/PP A/C (CITY A) is.

I would be happy to stand corrected on this but I believe I am correct in this observation.

I have several accounts from 2-3 states away and so far no issues.

Might be luck.

I use android tethering which might be a good thing as I get some crazy IPs from places like Kansas and Arizona which are 1200+ miles away from me.

There's your 1st piece of luck.

You can have IP access that shows your geo-location as being far away from your actual physical location.

However I strongly suggest you look at just how you create these accounts.
IP access is one part of your picture.
There are other factors :juggle:
You could not have all 10 accounts with the same photos. On review that could be detected.

You should not use the same local bank.

How specific are your plans? I am asking to ensure you do this undertaking correctly from its conception:typing:

In the USA the bank account really does not matter in fact they prefer a regular bank even the same one for the 10 accounts rather than see the virtual bank accounts which flags a possible stealth account.

I have started using a USB modem from verizon here for 2 of my accounts which changes the ip each time you use it and use a ip from my router for another.

Well I got a verizon USB modem so I'm going to be using that to change my ip. And I'm going to use addresses from nearby superb cities so when I sign up under ebay I don't have to put "Garland" 10 times which is the city I live in which is pretty small population so I guess it looks less suspicious.

Also I'm not sure if the bank account matters too much but theres other banks around me which I can use so I guess I'll do that. ^_^

You should be ok with a 90 mile radius with the IP Address. the next city/town next to you should be fine.

Kind of in the same situation. But not with 10 accounts. I literally have like 50 user accounts on my laptop. And some of them are empty, some of them are just pp's, and some are just eb*y's and some are both. I try a different combination every time to see which one gets me better limits.

Today i decided to make some more stealths, logged on 3 user names and i had 3 accounts already set up that i did not know about :doh::doh::doh:

2 of them are in the same city, and one is in another city that is close by. The thing is the names on these 3 accounts are VERY similar. And i don't sell a huge variety of items. I basically stick to one type of item but its not exactly the same. You guys think ill be ok if lets say i sell the SAME brand T-shirts on 3 of these accounts but make sure the pics are completely different and T-shirts are different styles? And of course the prices and description of the item ect will be different also.

Im really worried about the names being SO similar that they might link them. And 2 of them are in the same city.....
