Ebay cases? Sameday response when escalated?

So this guy escalated a case to ebay today saturday and the sameday a few hours later ebay made a decision. I thought it took a few days for ebay to make a decision or was it just a non busy day?

Typically when they escalate the case with Ebay the decision is made within a few hours. Sometimes it will almost be a instant response.

Yup the seller has to wait to escalate the case the buyer can immediately do it, I have had a complaint before and immediate escalation and decision within an hour.

I guess normal case time must be within days.
