EBay Stealth NEWB from Australia,
 

Hi All, I’ve been using eBay since I was 15 (on my parents accounts) which I switched over to my name after my 18th birthday.
My account has been registered since 2005 and in October 2010 it was to my surprise fully suspended due to a number of reasons.

Firstly, I received a few negative feedbacks due to buyers complaining about long postage times, even though I stated in my auction the item will take 10-20 Business days for arrival. And AIRMAIL TO AUSTRALIA at my item location.
Shortly before my account was suspended I purchased 400+ power balance wrist bands from china to sell on eBay. These items were a gold mine back in 2010 as they retailed at $60 in stores and cost less than $1 each.

At the time I had my own eBay business and web store, I used my friends and girlfriends account to sell these power balance wrist bands at $20 each, I was selling it least 10 a day. However I made the mistake of advertising my web store at the end of every email send to the customer as well as forwarding all profits from my friends/girlfriends pay pal account to my account. 2 months after all the sales ebay suspended both my friends and girlfriends account for VERO and being linked to my suspended account. There PayPal accounts were also suspended on the spot however my PayPal account remained active until just recently JAN 2012. (so it took PayPal almost 2 years to suspend my account)

After many attempts to reinstate my account and my friends account (as you can imagine they were not too happy with me) here I am trying eBay stealth and hopefully getting back on eBay as a buyer and seller.
Since my suspension I have move houses. Changes ISP, changed my phone number and opened new bank accounts. I’m hoping all this will help me keep under the raider.
I was thinking of registering my new account under my girlfriend’s name (as her name is much more common than mine, and we now live together) and adding her to my credit card as an authorized user with her own card. What do you guys think about that? Will her Name and DOB still bring up red flags?

Just misspell her name and alter date of birth.

Welcome to the forums - since you have chosen a lot of new reg. info (which is good), what stops you from going completely stealth including the name? Or do what degsey has recommended.

i was just thinking a bank credit card would look better then a pre paid credit card. but your right to be safe i will just use all new details. :mod: wish me luck :P
