So my gf got me thinking, i have too much money in the banks and i should have STAX in the house in case of a problem.
where to stash it? Please don't suggest in the ground, we saw what happened with the mexicans doing that.

I suspect you are joking... But a wall safe at home and a couple safety deposits boxes. Never all in one place. Wall safe must be full on fireproof.

Hidden in a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ vent is all Im going to say but more to it then that. I have always been a firm believer of keeping a hefty cash reserve.

I save a pile until it hits say 5k and then buy gold with it. I just stock it in a safe and hope it keep climbing in value. I have done that for almost 16yrs now and much of its worth well over what I paid for it. sofar that and rental property has brought much much more money that what a friend does as a day/home trader full time.

Used to keep mine under the matress but upgraded to an almond roca container in the cupboard, 5-10k fits just perfect in one of those.
