Customs checks UK

Hi,

I have got a parcel coming from china via DHL, it has gone through Heathrow and is now East Midlands. I was just wondering where customs checks are done? Now it has gone through Heathrow, should it be safe?

More than likely.

On a good day East Midlands is the dispersing centre for NE/NW UK.

Most of our DHL come via them.

Landed & sorted Heathrow.
Despatched East Midlands.

thought i had replied to this the other night,

Thanks for the speedy reply, package didnt go through any clearance processing at East Midlands so im presumming no secondary customs checks were done there
