Credit Card not working with paypal?

The card you entered cannot be used for this payment. Please enter a different credit or debit card number.

Why do I get this error?

I think I had added to a paypal account that got banned long time ago not really sure.

its not that it was added to a banned account. i get this sometimes with brand new prepaid cards. i have no idea what it means, but sometime (all the time) paypal is fussy

I checked and I have not added that card to any banned account. Its a capital one credit card and its not stealt. Its my normal credit card. Anybody have the same issues or tips?

I was trying to buy something online through dhgate and paid via paypal as a guest checkout and entered all the correct details and it gave me that error and it still keeps giving it to me. I was not doing anything stealth.

paypal is blocking guest checkouts.
