Default Get Ready!

We all know it is coming soon----mandatory use of Paypal for eBay USA. It has already came to UK and AU and we will probably see it here for the US by the summer.

I wanted to run an idea to all of you. One of the challenges of having a "verified" paypal account is having to constantly get bank accounts. If you have a product like I do that is getting your ebay account suspended on average every 2 months, then it is not idea to constanstly open bank account especially since ING has been reported as a no - go (even though I haven't personally had a paypal acct suspended yet with iNG).

Anyways, what do you guys think of this.... lets say I have 100 products.....I will create 5 ebay accounts and list 20 on each....only a phone (tracfone works great for me and is only $14 each) and a simon card will get me selling on ebay. Now, if I use a papal acct that is not verified, I can get up to $500 in each month per account. If I have 5 accts, that is up to $2500

Now, obviously, if I don't have a bank acct, I wont be able to withdrawal the money! So, what I can do is go to each account once a month, and buy up to $500 worth of scrap gold on ebay. I cna then request that the buyer ships through FedEx and provide them with a prepaid shipping lable to ensure that I get the gold. Once I get the gold, I can actually sell it to places on the internet like US Gold Buyers who will provide current value through company check within 48 hours. Voila! Although this will only work for a couple months as eventually your account will get limited, if you are constantly seeing accts suspended every 2 months or so, then it would be worth it!

What do you guys think? Obviously it is a little more work, but it is a solution. The only parts that will be hard is making sure your gold seller will ship to your actual address and making sure you only list so many items per account to ensure it doesn't go over the maximum monthly of $500.00.

Much more work and risk involved. Probably the best thing to do is to create tons and tons of eBay accounts, maybe up to a 100 before this mandatory Paypal thing takes effect. Simply sign up for an eBay account with a fresh GMail email, verify the account and store the details in a spreadsheet, reset your ip, delete cookies and do it again. Doing this will grandfather your accounts. That's what I would do at least.

There are probably even easy ways around it, but we'll wait and see.

Default 100 verified EBAY accounts Aspkin?

100 credit cards? 100 ⊗⊗⊗⊗ addresses? 100 IPs?

And now flash, phone calls to verify listings (100 phone numbers?), and then?

I mean verify email address, just an email address and that's it. Add credit card and working phone when you use the account later. The point is to stock up on accounts before the new policy comes into place. Like pre 10/ whatever accounts. Before merchant accounts required a fax. Just an idea.

By the time it hits the US, i would think measures would already be in place and the info gleaned from UK/AUS users...as were already having the pleasure of that being implemented here now..

Yes, I agree, and Although Josh's idea is good- 1 sale is sometimes $500 FOR ME, so--I'd need many pp accts--I still like using ccnow, every 2 wks, its like a Govt check--always on time..
Then again, I'm gonna try the Google ckout-as I have time, with the shop cart..
