Default Selling limit....or Listing limit?

My old account was lucky enough to of never been subject to selling limits so not really sure how they work.

Is it a selling limit or listing limit? For example if I have a limit of 100, want to sell a product I make which can come in 5 different sizes, if I made one listing with 5 variations, does that count as 1 or 5 towards the selling limit?

Most accounts start at around 10 items or 1000. You did well.

If you list multiples it will count towards your total of 100 items you are allowed to sell in a month.

You wont beat the system by colors etc.

100 items sold total.

100 items listed at a time total.

I sometimes delete or end one to list a better product I just got in.

Say you have a listing for iPhone covers.

2 variant's in size, and 5 colours.

That's 10 options in total.

You have 5 of each in stock, that'll take up 50 of your selling allowance.

Man that's a crock!

So it's actually a listing allowance more than a selling one I guess, as it doesn't mean you will sell all 10, but do have 10 in stock.

Thus the reason for multiple accounts.

Yeah I get that, but on my old account one listing would equal 200 items due to it's variations. The items were made to order so I didn't physically have that amount in my hands, but could if needed if that makes sense.
