Not getting holds on paypal funds outside of ebay?
 

Im receiving over $700.00 usd in funds and I wanted to know is it better for the customer to send the money as a gift from his account or is it better for me to request the money as goods or services? I just don't want the money to be in holds. I already tried goods for like 100.00 and didn't get holds. This was for outside ebay sales. I do have the 21 day hold red sign on my account though so im not sure. Please give me tips.

I've only gotten the hold on ebay sales. Almost always on ebay... Never on an off ebay transactions as of yet. I would not send the payment as a gift. The gift option is a good way to get red flagged. Send it as services or goods.

Getting gifts of money always raises red flags as they may suspect the sender in running a stealth account and guess what they make no money in gifts so they are going to make it as hard as possible to get it when you receive it to deter you doing it again.

Send out a request for payment of services its better.

I just sold a higher price item on CL to an out of towner who was willing to pay for the packing and shipping.

I grabbed a pp account and sent him an invoice as services.

This account still had holds and is fairly new and they did not hold this one like they have in the past.

I don't ever request anything. I just give them the e-mail address to any given PP and have them send for goods. Worked solid every time.

I just sent a few paypal invoices and sent as goods and buyers paid and the money went with no holds. Bless no free-ebay transactions!
