Vumber is great for verification

Ive been looking around for a service I can use just for eBay verification purposes and Vumber is the one. Its like 10 a month for one number and you can delete that number for a different one at any time for free. Works perfectly, and I can match all my addresses with the right area code.

Thanks for the share. There are cheaper services you know ;)

i just buy tracfones for each of my accounts their 10 bucks and they come with 20 minutes thats more enough incase ebay or paypal calls

bansheezone 03-09-2012 09:05 PM

I just bought 2 tracs for myself today but for accounts that are going to be dumped after 30 days. Having a bunch of cell phones on you looks fishy :ballchain:, also you have to buy minutes.

hackteck 03-09-2012 09:08 PM

unless you plan on pulling a driveby who knows whats in your pockets? lol maybe its good for my situation im either at my shop from 9-5 or im home

and i got the tracfone for my main account months ago it still has 17 minutes paypal called me once 6 months ago for 3 minutes that was it ebay never calls me

Are they strapped to your chest or something, being showcased to the world?

bansheezone 03-09-2012 10:08 PM

Just saying if your moving money Paypal calls....Having a bag full of Trac Fones aka burners is not a good look where I am from.

lhall5422 03-09-2012 11:55 PM

Tracs only come with 20min/60 days service though right. How get @ that. They alot of times will give number away.:noidea:

Still other ways exist.

on a bandolier like rambo.

why not just use a service that you can have all the numbers forwarded to one phone? makes it so much easier.

if paypal calls, just say hello, and the will ask "is this xxxx?" keep a binder with you that has all of your account info, then when you say yes it si, flip to that page. or, tell them you are busy and ask if they can call back in a few hours if you dont have the info with you

I do this ^. I can program the caller id to be the forwarding number so I know what stealth name the call is in reference to. ;)

unkown5454 03-10-2012 01:26 PM

^^^ Both good ideas.

Tossable digits works good for this and you can set it to show on caller id the number THEY are calling. Update your contacts in phone to the stealth name. All forwarded to main phone and you will always see what account they are calling for...

How many can you have forwarded to one phone with Tossable?

It is unlimited... I have about 10 active that will forward to phone and the dormant account numbers go to voicemail.

UnderBites08 03-11-2012 01:00 AM

Yeah. So the business plan?

FandangoKango 03-11-2012 09:15 AM

Flynumber? You got to pay for minutes used. It's way better with vumber.

Thankful 03-11-2012 09:21 AM

Flynumber all the way!

Sandy D 03-12-2012 02:36 AM

Vumber

Are they even still around?

They gave me fits a couple years ago and I have not been back.
