trademark violation

When you get hit with a trademark violation, is it because a member reports you, or do the people in ebay actually go through all the listings and read them carefully.

It can be one of three things:

1) An eBay employee happens across the listing and recognizes that you are selling ⊗⊗⊗⊗.

2) The Trademark owner reports you through the VERO program.

3) Another member reports you - usually a competitor or dissatisfied customer.

Ok well...

Depending on what your selling .. There are certain places that eBay uses to find out if items are authentic or not.
Eg; purseblog is Ebays authentication tool for handbags, wallets shoes etc.. And they are absolutely ruthless .
So if you had a problem with any of those items above. Expect the worst lol
