Selling a van on ebay?
 

Hi everyone.

My boyfriend set up a new ebay account about a week ago in his nans name & address with her permission.

He wants to sell a van, does he need a paypal account for this as he hasn't set one up as of yet?

And lastly, will ebay get suspicious if he puts a van on bids after only having the account for over a week?

I would assume so on a week old account.. you are going to need to verify and have the documents ready since they will most likely want to get to know you better.

Ebay motors will most likely be even more strict about it.

You will also most likely need a paypal account to sell it as well as a credit card on file. Vehicles are large dollar danger zones in eba/pps eyes.

In the UK motors is one part of Ebay that you do not need a Paypal account. You are not required to accept Paypal because of delivery and chargeback issues
