eBay Checkout...

I was just wondering if there is a way to stop users from completing the checkout..once they have bought the item. Can you change a setting so that they click buy it now but they have to wait for an invoice to be sent before paying for the item?

Thanks

You take off immidiate payment, should be in the listing area near paypal email bit just tick it off if it's ticked.

Thats the only way to send an invoice for a buy it now.

@tanxful, even if you take off immediate payment, customers can still pay via pp option.

There are workarounds but no way am I posting them out in this public subforum. I suggest you pm a moderator for some creative advice or join subscriber section.

If I was to go into seller preferences and untick the complete checkout option would this mean they have to wait for an invoice from myself before paying for the item?

This would make merchant accounts easier to deal with rather than a customer paying and stumbling across a 'problem'...

Have you tried the untick complete checkout option? Please do - let us know. I don't remem doing this.

Will try it and let you know.

With the Merchant account I have to wait 45 days from when the first payment went in until I receive that one but the rest I receive every 15 days right?

rsot 03-15-2012 08:39 AM

For the service we spoke about, think it was 45 days initially, yes - maybe 30.

Callidus 03-15-2012 08:47 AM

Is that 30/45 days only for the very first payment I receive?

Then the second payment I will receive in 15 days and so on... is that correct?

After that 15 days regularly.
