address variation
 

HI,
question for the experts.

As far as I understood a p.o box works for business but not for personal account.
Instead of virtual address, mail forwarding or stuff like that, what if we make a small variation on a real address suspended

EX:
real address suspended from pp/eb:
john smith
123 main street
Holiday
AZ12 ZA34
london

New address:
jonathan smith
unit 1, 123 main street
AZ12 ZA34
london

Do you think that could work for address verification and in case pp/eb want to send you something?;)

That's a good question. In the US I don't THINK it would because such an address would not appear in the USPS database. They must be using that, too, to weed ⊗⊗⊗⊗ addresses out.

Has been mentioned as not sensible too.

Ideally to start again stealth all NEW info is needed.

Grasp that & you are on the way.

Can't you vary up the postal code?

you asked this before dozens of posts ago. No the post code variation does not fly with paypal UK.

Postcodes in the UK identify the street. Phony postcode flags the account.
Forget that advice.

A new user needs to carefully select an address & name totally unrelated to a linked/suspended account.

18 months back accounts may have worked with variations. They are not having the same success now.

From my notes ( including the testing accounts which I deliberately sacrifice) there's been a program change. paypal 'knows' by letters & numbers when something is out of order.

Account then comes under scrutiny. The bad part is when that account is checked by a human. Correlation of info determines limitations which are usually permanent.
I repeat new name new address AND nothing to link to suspended accounts is the correct procedure.:clap:
