How do i remove the limits?

I found that as long as all the info matches i.e the name and address is the same as when you opened the pp account, the limits will be lifted without having to send any docs in. That is my experience.

sometimes its better to fax it in. there is less detail in the fax for them to discriminate. it may take longer than uploading a photo.

All accounts now require docs unless info shows on public records.

Only thing I would say is don't try to lift your limits too quickly. Even if you send in docs and it has not been 3 months, eb may keep you auto-low OR (worse) suspended you.

This is nothing to do with eBay, more to do with PayPal and the UK Receiving limit.

Agreed. It makes no difference how quickly you send in docs to Paypal. Personally, I get them in before selling anything at all, but each to their own.

Yes. Unfortunately though, the account does have to be verified. It would be so much better if you could get the docs in and approved before adding a bank account but alas it doesn't work that way.

i used real details in the ppal account and i clicked lift limits and asked to be identified. it did the "this will take 30 seconds" thing and checked up the name/address and then it said something like "congratulations!we have identified you"

im not sure if this message is a default message ...or if it has actually confirmed "i" live at that address. bearing in mind the name/address/dob are all real info.

i just gotta confirm my bank now which im doing and i will be verified. still unsure about the bit i talked about above though...maybe someone here knows

If all the info is real then it has 'identified' you but that doesn't mean you will never have to send them docs at some time in the future.

They can limit the account and request them at any time they feel like it.

Yeh i thought as much...i know how unpredictable PP are and im sure theyd love to have "my" details in their filing cabinets for whatever reason they deem.

But at least i know it will keep me safe for a while + its one extra brownie point. Could maybe even sell up to £1200, n keep withdrawing but leaving around £50 in there... then ditch the account if all goes to pot. they usually ask for docs around the 1200 mark.

great point cortex .. this is what I thought what to do with my acc cuz in some i cant verify all of them so .. I thought to get at least 1k on each acc and dont play with docs ... cuz I thinkt they will limit me if I will sell 1600 immediately... right ?

there's a very high chance paypal will limit accounts bringing in that volume of money.

the only down side to this method is that you will go thru bank accounts very quickly. unless you have access to a lot of sortcodes/account numbers that is.

and also sell sloooooowly

Its £1900 (Pounds Sterling) and its the amount you can receive into a p/p account in the UK under EU law before ID verification is required.

When you reach £1650 they will partially limit the account until you provide docs

You then have 130 odd days to do so before the account is permanently limited

I think USA accounts are still the easiest.
