It will get kicked inevitably if you just add it like you would a current account as it wont accept the DD mandate

Actually, I have an account I have a natwest savings linked to and its been attached and confirmed for 8 months now and i added it "as I would a current account" I haven't used the account at all though so that maybe why.

in my experience it stays attatched until you try to confirm it with the deposites as oompa says

ive had one attatched to an account as "unconfirmed" as a secondary bank account,

the other account is a confirmed current account, the savings account has been there and withdrawn to heavily for over 2 years now

Indeed that is why

However i do have a first reserve account that has withdrawn thousands & added same as a current account, with DD set up.

Although when i tried to do the same with a 2nd first reserve it got kicked....

thanks for the info guys, only reason i asked is that i ran a first reserve with no issues for about 5 years (was kicked for another reason) and didnt know if the e savings would work on the same principle.

cheers for your replies.
