Vanilla Card questions

I just got a Vanilla Visa and before I add it to my pp account, I have this question: will it be red flag to add a card get rejected add another get rejected? You will never know until you put the card in paypal, right? My card expiry date is 06/19.

seanws30 03-15-2012 01:59 PM

it might. with paypal there are no 100% answers.

There is a thread here somewhere that has a couple 2019 months that do not work anymore.

All cards starting with 4847 will work so if u got one that is 4847 u have nothing to worry about

bansheezone 03-19-2012 01:26 PM

That and make sure the exp date is from 2020 up

Hugh Jass 03-19-2012 01:41 PM

Never mind...I got another card to work. Thanks anyway. I won't buy vanilla visa anymore.

Still I have this question: what do you guys do if you buy with the same eb account? You keep adding gift cards to your pp account then use them?

newjerseymax 03-19-2012 02:14 PM

Hmmm... I think a lot of people know and wont say...lol

Reminds me to go pick-up a few... Cant imagine it will last forever and choices are dwindling.

why wouldn't they?

GreenBean 03-19-2012 04:22 PM

Because they are being discreet. :spy:

Hugh Jass 03-19-2012 04:36 PM

I meant what would happen to them if they say how they pay? And why they think it will happen? In short, I don't get what you guys are trying to say. :noidea:

JJGold 03-19-2012 05:44 PM

Made a couple of accounts yesterday using 10/19 exp with no problems.

bansheezone 03-19-2012 07:55 PM

I had nothing but issues with exp 1919

Come on.

Think about it, if something like this is posted it wont last very long.

Its called shooting yourself in the foot.

Why would anyone need to keep adding new cards? I never need to do that so what is it that make you think you need to keep adding new cards?

I have accounts more then 2 years old now and never change a single thing.

There are some posts floating around this forum right now that should be hidden. Too many n00bs don't know how to be quiet.

rsot 03-20-2012 05:34 AM

You can keep topping up the account with these cards.

Are you sure you read my question? If you keep one card and it runs out of money, how you buy another single item? People say reloadable cards won't work in stealth accounts.

rsot 03-20-2012 09:30 AM

@Hugh Jass - when the card no longer works, you get a new one.

That means you keep adding new gift cards? But other commenters (above) are against it.

rsot 03-20-2012 01:24 PM

Who said that specifically? I know a few folx and I have done it myself without issues.

I was answering your first question when he did not mention you were going to buy something.

Some people in this forum misguide you my friend. Some don't even read what your saying before posting a reply and make confusion for everyone.

And who would that be?

Did you read my comment?

You asked one question in your first post and then switched it to another question later.

Or did you even read your own postings?

Which is it, are you misguiding us then by asking one question and then changing it only after some info is given?

Sandy D 03-21-2012 11:55 AM

This is your original first question inwhich you did not mention anything about using it to buy something.

Just shows you have no clue what you are doing and were trying to get someone to hand you the exact way to do something without doing your own homework.

Still I have this question: what do you guys do if you buy with the same eb account? You keep adding gift cards to your pp account then use them?

Your word STILL means that this was your original intent on the question but you did not mention the word buy or that you wanted to buy something.

For you to state that someone is trying to misguide you is flat out stupid.

If anyone is trying to misguide anyone it would be the fact that you want all the answers to your question(s) answered. Next time you need help how about being more CLEAR in what you really want and do not attack someone for answering your first question when you change up the question only after a mod tells you some things are best not posted about.

With 25 postings I think you need to chill and not attack posters who spend a lot of time helping those who "are willing" to help themselves.

newjerseymax 03-21-2012 02:22 PM

Gotta love it when people attack cause they don't get answers they are hoping for. If your mind is made up then why ask?

I smell a troll.

Hugh Jass 03-22-2012 07:57 AM

people keep saying "...after just 10 posts...after only 15 posts...only 25 posts..." that means a posting race is going on??! Is that why some start posting replies without first understanding the question or situation? Are they so busy increasing their post number that they forget to take time to understand first?? Low number or high number of posts doesn't mean anything. Anyone can go around the threads and post as much as they want.:juggle:

GreenBean 03-22-2012 08:10 AM

We do tend to prefer to be given questions that are not mixed up.

I hope you got my pm reply regarding the gift card?

So vanilla cards will not be purchased by you yes?

When a gift card runs out of funds it will either be replaced or topped up, yes?

Covers bases. :peace:

Maybe you should learn how to construct a sentence so people can understand exactly what you are asking.

I clearly showed you that you did not include what you really wanted in your first post then of course added it more clearly later on.

Believe me I understand what you want, someone to just hand you all the answers.

Time and community give back do matter, how about you sharing some of your ideas or thoughts with us?

For your time on the board you post numbers are very low, the reason? I know you want all the answers but have not taken the time to share any ideas or to help someone with something you know.

Hugh Jass 03-22-2012 12:45 PM

You showed me nothing more than proof that you didn't read before posting.
Yes I have shared what I know and I don't need YOUR approval.
No I don't want all the answers as I have figured many myself.
You can rant as much as you want as you keep coming back to add more  but I'm not gonna argue with you.
The fact that you are overly and excessively defensive tells a lot about you.

Sandy D 03-22-2012 01:02 PM

The fact that you go on an attack and do not expect someone to stand down to you tells me a lot about you.

Do not expect to attack and someone not to defend themselves.

The fact that you want all the answers and when you dont get them you get upset tells me a lot about you.

You can expect a reply from me when you go on a personal attack.

Sorry your first post was so confusing that it was hard to understand what you were asking and then had to later change it so someone could understand it.

rsot 03-22-2012 01:20 PM

Getting a little wayward on the thread - a mod will prob come bring it back into line.

GreenBean 03-22-2012 11:16 PM
