ok guys Barclays have introduced a new app which is amazing.. Im going to accept this on my ebay, I want everyone using this app...

You can sent money instantly with seconds. from any bank acc just register. they have launched this very recently few weeks ago. and at the moment they only support barclays customers .. however in update it is said that they will be accepting all banks to send and receive money..just what you need is your phone number thats it.

I think paypal can shake a bit ass right now... everyone has bb android and iphone right now... (more ppl then pp i asume) this might be a nxt big thing ?

I wish it would !!

thats the thing.. pingit its free fast and easy for small business its a great solution. I would love to accept it .. just post my phone nr and customers can send money.. in return they have got my acc details.. so its very secure...

Has limits.

Can only send £300 daily & receive £5000.

Not a fan of Barclays tbh.

Bar stewards have already covered their tracks by telling users that if the incorrect phone number is used, monies might not get returned

Yeah it has limits.. etc..and thats true .. it is more difficult to get your money recovered if you type the wrong phone number. however i think people exchange phone numbers every day .. so they might used to type it easier then sort codes or bank acc...

however i think its a good competitor I like this idea...

certainly its much better then PP.. I would prefer to deal with a bank (manager or so )rather then stupid sales representatives in PP who are hopeless

My take on this

Barclays = bad record with ⊗⊗⊗⊗ accounts

E/B = Not allowing alternative payment methods

Customers = Like every other payment that is allowed the great masses will ignore it and use p/p as they do now.

paypal shake? Seriously... There is a reason why pp is so popular WORLDWIDE. If this goes off I can see ebay just buying them out asap but then again I dont see this going anywhere. All 3 major banks offer a similar service now with your phone number and/or email.
