I`m sorry if I am in the right place.. I mean wrong place. I used the link to check my ip, got info logged off. logged back on only This time I get something asking me if I want to dial up, Never had that b/4.so I say yes & get connected & then I checked my ip . gave me new info, same country , but no city. wonder what I did?

I am saying that... When I check my IP address I get the #`sxx.xxx.xx.x.
I get that I am located in the United States.
my city is... blank , no city . just says city, does not give a city.
And I do live in a city.

That happens with me when I try sometimes. No city, just an IP and country of location.

Using these sites is just to determine if you have a different IP. If you use dial-up, then the IP changes every time. Now what you can do is start to keep
a log of your IPs....that is good practice when using ebay.

Yes, I am keeping a log. But, the no city thing is nothing to worry about?. just keep the log.

Having the log you will be able to determine if your IPs are falling within the range of already used ones; so if they are consistent you should be fine.

I just tried this with AOL, IE and FF. It found me in Mexico with IE ans FF but with AOL it gave the standard proxy info.
