| | | waterproof | 03-26-2012 08:24 PM | How can I sell VERO items like Coach etc.. Good day everyone!
I have several Coach and Kate Spade purses along with some very nice heels and flats that I would like to sell, but am a very leary of doing so because of potential VERO issues and the auctions being taken down.
How can I sell, or better yet, what necessary steps have to be taken in order for me to sell such items? They are clean, slightly use items that have the potential of regaining at least 40% of their value back if I can sell them on ebay.
How is this done without getting VERO'd?
Thanks!

| baloch | 03-26-2012 09:01 PM | Only list them on aged ebay accounts as they will be tougher to take down. Again alot of pictures and details. Make sure you get tracking with signature when shipping and do not take the money out as soon as it clears give it a few days and start withdrawing.
Goodluck though.
P.S I would recommend offline classified selling. |
| jeffweico | 03-26-2012 09:23 PM | If you DO get VERO'd, the only recourse is to ask the VERO member for their permission to sell the items. They will probably want proof they are authentic. Some members are good about it and others are not. |
| OfficialGenius | 03-26-2012 10:17 PM | Coach is one of the high end vero designer brands that's impossible to sell without getting vero'd. Not sure about Kate Spade, but most other designer brands are good to go. |
So basically you have a 20% chance of not getting veroed. |
| jbluntz | 03-26-2012 10:46 PM | If you list it right, you can sell it before you get vero'd. |
| unkown5454 | 03-27-2012 01:46 AM | When you buy expensive a*s sh!t like this, you should be keeping receipts...
This has done fine for me. |
| FandangoKango | 03-27-2012 01:51 AM | If you have 5 accounts to burn list differently on each one and you should be able to sell at least on 1. If you can't burn accounts then list on aged account with some feedback at least. |
| jamblix | 03-27-2012 04:58 AM | It's ****ing bull**** how these companies can take down your authentic listings and get away with it so easily. And then have to jump through loops to get the listing back on, if you even want to go through the hassle.
Anyways, I sold one of my moms Louis Vuitton purses, I just took really good high definition pictures of all the seams, stitching, logos and it sold fine. |
| oompaloompa | 03-27-2012 05:47 AM | I sell my used items all the time, but quantities are the problem....identical same brand in succession, even if used, can mess up a non-strong acc...I would spread them or leave big gap in selling those....coach and spade are not major meddlers though...god I hate coach bags anyway, so nasty
I never have problems, but occasionally got the BS jamblix refered too...once I sold a fendi bag for practically nothing that I had spilled red wine all over , it smelled like a brewery and I said that all in the listing, and the company or someome reported it and took it down |
| Killuminati | 03-27-2012 08:16 AM | Try listing it in weekends one day auction it works for me never been vero for atleast a year now. |
| Sandy D | 03-27-2012 09:12 PM | Only a well schooled person can do this and get away with it for a while.
Rookies wont be able to get away with doing this. |
| newjerseymax | 03-28-2012 12:34 AM | Needs to be aged account with lots of pictures of product and receipt. Especially stitching and attention to details. A price that will be something someone will snatch up quick at BIN. I could never imagine completing a 7 day auction on this brand. |
| swtannie850 | 03-28-2012 10:10 AM | Not sure about Purses but I sold many of the Kate Spade items without any problem. |
| UnderBites08 | 03-28-2012 10:34 AM | List as used too. |
| waterproof | 03-28-2012 06:11 PM | Thats just it though. I have Spade, Coach, Fedi and Prada that I would like to sell. However, I do not have the original reciepts, of course, which would be from 2-3 years ago.
So are VERY DETAILED PICTURES helpful? And maybe a one day listing too? Thanks again everyone! |
| oompaloompa | 03-30-2012 12:42 PM | certain things are not allowed on 1 day listings, so not sure about that method.....you are talking 1 of each type - you should be ok on a strong acc... |
| Killuminati | 03-30-2012 02:17 PM | What i do is list in a different catergory which allows me to do one day auctions you will get less buyers because it is in a different catergory and makes it harder for buyers to search for your item.
I do have a aged account a year and a half old but would not risk it on newer accounts with less selling feedback. I started listing vero with 50+ feedback. |
| oompaloompa | 03-31-2012 07:39 AM | ..hmm different catagory, interesting strategy - thought the keyword had something to do with it, but dunno... | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 01:32 AM. | |
