| | | exranger | 03-27-2012 07:21 AM | Suddenly disappearing watchers OK, while I have not been on Ebay for a few years, I am not unfamiliar with it by any standards.
Just opened up a stealth account. After waiting a week, started putting up a few normal household items, very low-key.
Last night, two of my listings had 8 watchers each, one had 5, two more had 2 - 4 watchers.
This morning, all gone but two.
That's odd, no? |
| NoneOther | 03-27-2012 07:38 AM | Not really, people change their minds all the time especially on low value household items for which there is probably no end of choice on e/b |
| exranger | 03-27-2012 07:45 AM | Yeah, true, but these watchers stuck through and grew in number each day - then all decided to leave last night at once?
That's a bit too odd |
| Sandy D | 03-27-2012 07:24 PM | There is a lot of strange things going on with ebay.
I dont post everything I see but I found a seller a few days back that has 2500 fb and the account is from 2011.
Now how in the heck does someone with a 1 1/2 year old account have that much feedback?
Watchers do remove themselves as we all know but to see a mass removal is very odd on one account. |
| exranger | 03-27-2012 09:28 PM | Yes, that's my thought, too. Just one more very weird thing! |
| seanws30 | 03-28-2012 08:11 AM | @sandy its possible if the account could be verified because it has someones real info attached, or it was one of those one in a million stealth accounts that gets created with no limits |
| exranger | 03-28-2012 08:36 AM | Wouldn't THAT be a nice thing to know how to do!!!
We should all chip in $100 into a pool for the first person to figure out - and share - how to do that!! lol. |

| yotano211 | 03-28-2012 11:53 AM | I made a few without selling limits this month. I am trying to prove some ways on how to make them again but cant seem it find it. |

I rotate accounts all the time and it seems to work.. |

That's odd, no? | I know people are saying that buyers change their mind but I agree with you. I think that's a rather large coincidence.
Usually, when people watch an item they keep watching it till it ends OR they stop watching it on the last day of it ending.
One weird thing that happened to me was I had an item up on Ebay and it got 800 views. I re-listed it and now it's only getting 10 views in a week. So weird. |

I only did it as a test with my usual products to see if it worked and shipping fast etc top feedback, good dsr's and no holds... 2 1/2 month old accounts.. |

350+ feedback on a 2 month old account is some feat. What selling limit is on this legendary account? And how many actual sales (items) have you done in 2 months to get 350+ feedback? 500? 700? 1000?
Apologies for being so sceptical but you post on other threads how few buyers leave you feedback. |
| NoneOther | 03-29-2012 03:39 PM | My guess would have to be 700+ which from new is some going and would without a doubt draw the attention of both e/b & p/p.
I can only assume that the item values are extremely low, probably pennies, which would alleviate the risk factor.
Express trains travel very fast and when they derail its spectacular. |
| Callidus | 03-29-2012 03:47 PM | I was buying on both accounts for a while maybe 15 items on each and started selling slow from day 1... April 1st is the 3rd month of going... both accounts have 250 items per month... Yes I haven't received full feedback on other accounts which have 100/3500 aswell which is why I have posted on the threads.. customers seem to be leaving feedback nearly 3 - 4 weeks after sale completion day...
If you want accurate numbers on feedbacks on each account then pm me :)
Why would you be sceptical ..Yes I risked those accounts but hey I have done something you obviously haven't...? :) :deadhorse: |
| NoneOther | 03-29-2012 04:26 PM | Mmmmmmmm.........
Not sure how that stacks given the selling limits on the accounts and the average sale to listing ratio and f/b to sale ratio |

Were they business accounts by the way?
Either way well done :thumb: |
