Withdraw on Thursday/Friday, will get money before Monday?
 

I would like to have a minor question.
If I withdraw money from PP on Thursday night or early Friday, will I get it BEFORE Monday?

No, highly doubt it. Maybe if you withdraw Thursday you have a slim chance of getting it on Saturday. I never got my money before Monday withdrawing on Friday.

hes right i usually withdraw on thursday night/friday morning and its always there monday morning

You would have to do it before 4:00pm eastern standard time wednesday for it to post on friday and it has to be a bank that accepts transfers quick not like some other ones. I have noticed a few banks accept transfers in less than 2 days and others in 3-5 days.

having the money in your bank on saturday usually doesnt happen, may depend on your bank, but i do believe that paypal uses ACH clearing house. saturday not being a banking business day would result in the deposit not showing up until monday.

from my understanding on how ACH works, is on the day you click withdrawal, at the end of the day paypal would send all of their transactions to the ACH. (no idea what time the cut-off is) the next morning the transactions are processed via ACH and then sent that night to the corresponding banks. that following morning your bank would have the transfer info. keep in mind that weekends and holidays dont count.

A Thursday night transfer would not be 'started' until business hours Friday.
Remote chance of geting to your account by the weekend.

For future, try to do transfer during the business hours the bank is open.

It's the method taken to get from paypal to your account that slows up the process.

regard paypal as Point A. ACH as point B Your account as point C

Funds transfer is not a straight Point A to Point C.
It's Point A to Point B. (Hold for processing). Point B transfer to Point C

Quick update, I withdrew money on Thursday morning this week and did not receive it in my bank today. Most likely will be getting it on Monday.

Sending it on Friday, no chance at all i'd say for it arriving before Monday.

Good rule of Thumb: Always give yourself 3 business days for funds to arrive in your account.

I have a foreign US bank account and it takes 3 business days every time.

I transferred my fund on Friday, PP said the transaction was completed on Saturday but the fund showed up on bank account on late Monday.
Assume something happened with PP in Monday morning (suspension) when the fund was still pending in the bank account. Would PP be able to take the fund back?
