Had a good 6 month run---got limited today

well I had a good 6 month account going but a spike in sales brought pp to try and contact me, and I didnt have active phone...still...so received the paypal survey email yesterday, completed it and boom...oh well at least i withdrew most of it out first..i got the last laugh in...lol!

bansheezone 04-01-2012 12:48 PM

Glad to hear that you got to the funds.

yotano211 04-01-2012 01:54 PM

6 months is a pretty good run. And getting funds out is always good.

jamblix 04-01-2012 02:43 PM

What do you mean by spike in sales? How much money are we talking here, please share in detail so maybe others can avoid it.

newstart2 04-01-2012 02:58 PM

well my selling limits were initially 10/1000 and first 2-4 months I was easy on it, maybe selling 6-7 small items, total $300-400 a month, then they increased me to 20/1800 and I sold 10 larger items totaling around $1700 each month for past 8 weeks. My mistake was not having an active phone number where they could reach me. I have another 6 monther and 2 one monthers so I will keep on with it and go w the rolls.

Why pp wanted to call you by phone? Is that the spike from $300 to $1700 in a month?
It is very hard to make a consistent figure every month..

UnderBites08 04-01-2012 06:32 PM

My problem always is I have a phone and use google voice, so sometimes it gets forwarded to google voice mail. Really you only can have two active phones per one cell number with google voice.

rsot 04-01-2012 10:35 PM

Well at least you got your money out.

baloch 04-01-2012 10:45 PM

yep nice to hear you at least got most of your funds then the regular stories of how to get my funds out. :cheer:

What is a PayPal survey..

BiN4RY 04-01-2012 11:45 PM

It isn't the survey that got you banned, its the fact that you did not have a valid phone number. This doesn't always gives you instand suspension, it could often be delayed.

This is the third member this week or has said they got limited because they either missed a pp call or dont have an active phone.

I can get by with no phone on a new or newer account but after a period of time and more and more business I need to have a phone attached. I do not want to just hand them my account because of a easy to get working phone.

markflood 04-02-2012 12:50 AM

Is okay use a google voice forwarder. When they call they hear google voice and there forward to that number?

getting limited by paypal for not having a working number or they call when your sleeping is bull crap!

Anyways learning new stuff everyday with stealth, If you withdrawal there going to call you on new accounts, but not sure what lowest amount triggers it, does anyone know?

Sandy D 04-02-2012 02:26 AM

No set amount.

I have been called for 50.00 on a new account.

newstart2 04-02-2012 07:58 AM

Yes this was a hard lesson learned, if you have a valued account make sure to have a working number.

MeToYou 04-02-2012 08:55 AM

Why do they phone ? On my last account I had it for 8+ years and never spoke to them once on the phone. Or is it different in the US ? Also you mention limits, do you get stuck to certain limits which they increase ? Sorry for the confusion.

Artann 04-26-2012 12:12 PM

They usually call you with some survey or help that they want to offer you.

Gamefreak 04-26-2012 12:42 PM

All that money and you guys dont want to invest in a number for $10 tops. Your not serious about having your account last

oge 04-26-2012 02:06 PM

I never ever complete those surveys..... that might of been your problem.....

I was still wondering how many phone calls that you miss will make you suspended. And I read Sandy said " A phone call" !?!? That's unbelievable to me.
Also, I remember many of you mention about account's gender. Is the Gender thing for the business accounts only? Mine is personal and I don't add my gender in my account information because it's not required.

Are you talking about Ebay or PP?
Today Ebay calls me for this. Luckily I didn't miss their call !!!

UnderBites08 04-26-2012 08:03 PM

If you miss there call it will most likely be limited. First couple withdrawals have a phone attached, then go from there. The hardest part for me is finding a bank that will let me have 15 accounts....still searching the forum for this.
