Currency changed in eBay
 

Ok this one has puzzled me for some time now. Heres what happened.

I made a stealth for my friend using a premier ppal account back in november 2011. Back then I added a vcc and he used his own bank to have it verified and used his own mobile number to verify the ebay account. He doesnt know anything about stealthing and was just selling items for me while i was away.

He sold a few items on it, and after having a feedback of -1 I took the account off of him....he's not cut out to be an ebay seller.

I logged in a few months later and noticed that the ebay seller fees is in $USD rather than £GBP

I thought he may have initially registered as an ebay seller on ebay.com rather than on ebay.co.uk but i tried this on a new stealth i made but this isnt how he did it.

Does anyone know how he did this?

The second weird thing was that the selling limit was lifted - no selling limits at all!

Also the paypal did nt have the 21 day hold

Once funds are owed for a certain length of time (can't remember the actual figure) they get converted to USD or sometimes AUSD, not sure why as they only convert them back to GPB when they send the account to debt collections (Probably screw you on the exchange too)

Ahhh!!! youre not wrong there pal. The account was £7 in debt for some months.
