PayPal limit on old account...Bank review?
 

Hey all =)

Just thought I would share some interesting things i found out today, maybe some people can share their opinions on the subject?

I have an old eBay/Paypal 3+ years over 3000 feedback and I was met with this notice today:

We identified activity on your PayPal account that violates the terms of our User Agreement. As a result, you'll no longer be able to use your account.

Not a lot has been selling on this account and I was baffled as to why I had received this. So I called them up - why do I have this, what do I need to do?

The lady on the phone explained that my account was under internal bank review by their team? and should be released within 3 days/by the end of the week. I am not holding my breath...

It has the 180 days notice on it, I am soo confused by this...any one any theories about this?

Had this on account last month, it happened about a week after changing the email address (nothing else though)

Sure enough 3 days later they removed the limitation and all been fine since then.
